Ports for FIFA 13 online

WHAT ONLINE PORTS SHOULD I OPEN FOR FIFA 13?

Players having difficulties connecting to online play or to other players in FIFA 13 likely need to open, or forward, their online ports.

FIFA 13 PS3 players simply need to open the following Ports on your connection:

UDP: 3074; 3659; 6000
TCP: 80; 443; 10000 - 10099; 42127; 3659

FIFA 13 PC players should also open these ports:

UDP: 9565; 9570; 9000 - 9999; 3659
TCP: 9946; 9988; 42124; 10000 - 20000; 3569

And FIFA 13 Xbox 360 players should open the following:

UDP: 88; 3074; 53; 3659
TCP: 3074; 53; 80; 3659

Ports are basically 'endpoints' between two connections. A 'Port number' is assigned to each end, like an address, in order to direct the flow of Internet traffic.
If you are experiencing connectivity issues with any of our online games, and you have exhausted all basic connection troubleshooting, such as clearing cache, adjusting privacy settings, or disabling firewalls, you may need to add a port to your network connection.
Each game or application uses different ports, so you will have to check your game's settings for the correct ports to open.
To open TCP or UDP ports, follow the instructions below:
  1. Click on the 'Start' button on your Windows Taskbar.
  2. Click on 'My Network Places.'
  3. Under the 'Network Tasks' section, click on 'View Network Connections.'
  4. You should now see a list of the network connections available to your PC. The network connection which you are currently using should say 'Connected.' Any other connections should read 'Disabled.'
  5. Right-click on your current network connection and select 'Properties' from the menu list.
  6. Click on the 'Advanced' tab.
  7. Click on the 'Settings' button.
  8. Click on the 'Exceptions' tab.
  9. Click on the 'Add Port' button.
  10. You should now see a pop-up window appear.
  11. Name your port and give it a descriptive name so that you know what port it is later.
  12. Enter the port number under the 'Port Number' text field.
  13. Select either 'TCP' or 'UDP' (these should be specified in the list of ports you acquire from your game).
  14. Click 'OK.'
You have now added a port to your network connection. If you connect later with a different network connection, you might have to re-add any ports you entered. You might also need to repeat these steps if you need to enter multiple ports.
